Dustin Sylvia is an award-winning filmmaker based in Washington, DC. During his time working with the National Geographic Society's Impact Story Lab, he has produced and edited a multitude of films and documentaries highlighting the important work of Nat Geo Explorers and initiatives. Previously, he has also produced content for clients such as Bai, Sam Adams, and Mercedes. His most recent work includes a feature documentary, Nkashi: Race for the Okavango, which took home multiple awards including "Best Original Music Score" at the 2023 Jackson Wild Summit. In his free time, Dustin enjoys performing improv, riffing on guitar, and playing nerdy board games like Dungeons & Dragons.
